Olivia Andrews

Olivia Andrews is a funeral director, celebrant, counsellor, and psychotherapist based in Sydney’s Inner West, a community she is proud to call home. She is passionate about redefining the farewell experience so that every service becomes a meaningful and personal reflection of the individual it honours.

Alongside her funeral work, Olivia manages the Palliative Biography Service at St Vincent’s Sacred Heart Health Service, where she supports patients in telling their life stories. She also offers therapeutic and doula-style support to individuals in palliative care, including those living with dementia, and provides bereavement care for families.

Olivia is especially passionate about legacy work—whether through biography and life review, narrative therapy, sustainable funeral practices, or ceremonies that honour a life with authenticity, respect and care. She believes that the way we say goodbye can shape healing for those left behind, and that our final gestures can also give back to the earth. If given the choice, she would wish for a living wake, followed by her body nourishing the soil and helping a tree to grow.
